Precast Permanent Shuttering for Mono Beams Columns

The Design:

Another innovative idea. The moulds provide for the casting of 230mm and 280mm square columns, which are 3 meters in length. The columns can be delivered to the site with the steel to be inserted, as specified by the engineer. The installation is simply lifting the columns into place over the steel reinforced footings and sliding in the required steel cage.

Advantages

• Easy to handle and quick to install. A 3 meter column can be erected, ready for casting in ±2 hours by 4 unskilled labourers.
• Minimal shuttering required.
• Outside face has an excellent finish due to use of steel moulds, thus easy to plaster.
